Deskripsi
The circular economy in municipal solid waste (MSW) management began to be promoted in Indonesia as the government set a target of recycling or recovering 30% of solid waste by 2025. While the current study primarily focused on the potential and feasibility of circularity implementation, this study aimed to understand the economic, social, and environmental trade-offs associated with different circular economy scenarios in Indonesia's MSW sector. Mataram City and North Lombok District were selected as study locations because these two regions had different circular economy approaches to MSW, as outlined in Indonesia's Strategic Planning for Sanitation 2020–2024.
